In the creative world of Made in Italy, the WEGA trademark represents since over 10 years an extremely important reference point for the whole international tannery sector. Situated in Arzignano in the province of Vicenza (Italy), in the heart of “skin valley”, the company has specialised in the application of electronics to the industrial working of leather. WEGA manifactures principally two specific types of electronic measuring machines of hide surface: the more professional one specific for the big production in tannery and the more simple one, but as precise and reliable as the first type, used for the control of hide surface in the footwear and leatherwear sector. For each user of hide is extremely important to control the exact surface of hide that he must use for his production. For this reason WEGA manufactures the CIAK measuring machine, in three measures, with useful width of 1600, 2200 and 3200 mm. CIAK is a measuring machine with rollers that permits to control any type of hide, also the more soft one, and to obtain with the maximum stretching the maximum yield of the measure. Besides to indicate on the display the measure value, this measuring machine prints on paper the single value, the total of each pack and the general total. Moreover WEGA manufactures a planimetric measuring machine model with table suitable for footwears and leatherwears, with useful plane of measure mm. 1250x560, that contemporaneus permits to value the total area of figures to be cut, the total consumption of hide for the cut and the percentage of cutting efficiency.
