We’ve been formulating and producing PU Systems for the footwear industry, polyester polyols, MDI prepolymers, thermoplastic polyurethanes, elastomers for casting, polyureas, polyaspartates, elastomeric coatings, and spray foams in Italy since 1991. Our products are currently available in more than 50 countries around the world.
Thanks to the integration of Elachem® S.p.a. in 2008, we expanded our production line and are now able to oversee and manage every step in the manufacturing processes, from the raw materials to the final product. The constant search for alternative primary sources has become not just a global priority, but a true mission of the company.
That’s why we decided to make a major investment in the research and development of BIO-based polyurethanes for the footwear and clothing sectors, which, like us, are very sensitive to the issue of sustainability.
Today Epaflex® Polyurethanes are able to offer materials made from 60% renewable plant-based sources, depending on the formula and technical requirements of the brand. BIO-based contents are determined according to European, American, and International standards.
