Officine di Cartigliano studies, designs and manufactures machineries for tanning industry, radiofrequency systems for pasteurization and sterilization of food products, highly innovative dryers and molecular dissociators for sludge coming from waste water treatment plant.
The big goals are the targets for Cartigliano, which holds the world leadership in the production of machines and plants for leather processing: more than 70% of the leathers present in the world are processed by Cartigliano plants.
The purpose of Cartigliano is to give concrete help and support to the tanneries through a Research and Development department, unique in its kind, capable to analyze and design highly technological and customized systems for processing any type of leather.Cartigliano has become part of UNIC’s world, with the aim of developing solutions that respect the nature of the leather, the human being and the environment that surrounds him, becoming "sustainable" in a word.
The spirit of Cartigliano, strongly oriented towards research, arises from an innate curiosity of physical phenomena that occur in the transformation of the "state" of the various products to be processed.
More than 10% of its turnover is invested every year in research, mainly for tanning sector. Furthermore, since some years Cartigliano is investing in two other sectors of fundamental importance for the human being: nutrition and the environment.
