What we do

ATOM is world leader in the production of systems for cutting flexible and semi-rigid materials.

Over the years, thanks to massive investments on R&D, it has developed cutting-edge technologies appliable to many industrial sectors, adapting to all the production processes that includes cutting of non-metallic materials: rubber and plastic, fabrics, footwear, leather goods, packaging, gaskets, automotive, sports and medical accessories, furnitures...

Founded in 1946, in over 75 years of activity, it has produced and sold more than 250,000 machines all over the world.

The company since the 1950s has seen a great grow and development, becoming with the establishment of ATOM Brazil and ATOM China, a multinational reality. In 2009 Atom acquired Main Group (Venice), reaching 4 production plants and recently 14 branches worldwide.

In 2016, ATOM completed 2 important acquisitions that brings Molina e Bianchi, leader on the production of  technologies for shoe lasting, and Shoemaster International, well-known 3D CAD- CAM program, to became part of the ATOM Group.
